It’s like a catchphrase - no DJ41 owner can own one without that adage being quoted. The reason why so many use that little nugget of intel is because they know it looks too big.

39.5… 45.5… I say what I see on the wrist, regardless of the stats.

Slate/Rhodium DJ41 Picture Request

A guy I work with has one. It’s stunning. Pictures don’t do it justice. So if you like what you see on this thread, you’ll be blown away when you see it in person.

He has a rhodium dial, fluted bezel with lume indices on an Oyster bracelet. I’d prefer the jubilee, but either way, it’s stunning.

Good luck. I love my blue dial but I guess that isn’t helpful right now!

So,done already put up a Wimbledon, just thought I’d drop mine in here. The slate is great although the green numerals are not as legible, as noted. Nonetheless, it’s a beautiful watch, really brilliant in the light.

Congrats Mike!

It’s my favorite DJ configuration and one I’d like to add eventually.

I had a blue DJII and the dial is amazing. There are so many great dial options on this watch it's hard to pick. I would say though of you plan to use it as a dressier watch, the slate and silver are really beautiful. If it's more of a sport/casual watch, maybe black and blue work better. So it's more about where it fits in your collection and what you are using it for, because they all look amazing. Can't really make a bad choice.
