You’ll regret trading that Hulk.

As others have said keep your Hulk. Its discontinued unlike the GMT Jubilee which still in production. I would add if you can. But if you must trade, he's the one that should be coming outta pocket was some cash not you.

I'll go against the majority here, I can't stand the Hulk, so I'd definitely make the trade!

The BLNR on jubilee is amazing. That said I wouldn’t trade a Hulk for it. Get on a list for a BLNR and give it some time. Then you’ll have two great watches.

I wish you could post this same response in a few more threads this morning, it adds SO MUCH to the discussions. You just sound like the old man complaining about how the world is now. “Get off my lawn!”

Hulk is a better watch and you were being lowballed. But he’s a reseller so of course they want to make as much as possible on any trade.

If you prefer GMT II over the Hulk just go for it. However, I would try to negotiate a straight trade at the minimum!
Yes, BLRN is a brand new but you can’t buy Hulk since it is discontinued model and will just go up in value! |

Two issues- if even swap, do what you want. But, as mentioned, you’re giving up a colored dial and a discontinued watch, for a currently available reference. I wouldn’t, or sell the LV yourself, skip the dealer mark-up. YMMV.

I love the batgirl - the jubilee adds so much wrist presence to the watch and differentiates it from the sub.
I actually like the batgirl much better than the hulk if I had to choose 1. But…what would be better than just a BLNR on jubilee is having BOTH the BLNR on jubilee AND the sub LV. It makes for the perfect two watch combo imo. So see if you can get the BLNR on jubilee while still keeping the hulk. |

Looked at trading my hulk for a batgirl 2021 - is this an awful deal?

I’m in the minority but I like the Batgirl better than the Hulk. I think the green has a high novelty factor, but that can wear off easily. The batgirl is more versatile and timeless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If you want the BNLR, sell your Hulk, buy the BLNR at market price, and put the difference back in your pocket!

I prefer the BLNR to the Hulk, but that is a terrible deal in my opinion. Get what you want, what you will wear...but don't do the dealt with that dealer. There are many other reputable dealers on TRF that will give you a better evaluation!

It sounds like you were expecting the seller to give you the full market value for your hulk as part of the trade?
You know these guys do have to make a living. He’s obviously going to offer you less than what they are selling for on Chrono24 & other selling platforms. They have sellers fees to pay on Chrono24 as well as a myriad of other hidden expenses you don’t see. If he has a store there will be staff to pay rent/rates/taxes etc. It’s the same when I see private sellers asking the same price for any given reference as the bricks & mortar retailers. Is the private seller going to offer a 12 month warranty? No Is the private seller going to take the watch back if anything is faulty with it? No Is the private seller going to offer a buy back guarantee? No Is the private seller going to guarantee authenticity because his reputation in the watch business depends on it? No Is the private seller going to provide proof the watch isn’t stolen such as a certificate from the lost/stolen register? Probably not. Some people need to take a bit of a reality check when it comes to the differences in values when buying, selling or trading on the grey market. My honest advice would be keep the LV & put your name down with an AD for the BLNR. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
