Go for the DJ. A true Rolex icon. Sub is an icon too, but the DJ is available. Buy the DJ and enjoy now.

If anything the Green sub is underrated. Just got it, wasn't on my radar or wish list. I just got lucky but I was very surprised what a difference it makes in person. Absolutely stunning.

That being said, I'd take whatever came in first.

I don’t envy the decision you need to make since both references are amazing. If you love one versus the other, then go for the one you love.

The nice thing in the current market is that mistakes won’t cost you much.

I bought a OP39 loved it but somehow ended up trading it for a Datejust II. Loved both missed my first Rolex after selling it.

18 months later I sold the Datejust II for a new Sky Dweller Two Tone Jubilee black dial as I got the chance to get it for retail.

I am still on the list for a Sub and an Explorer II but truly enjoyed the Rolex journey so far.

I collect watches from Blancpain to Zenith - so am not a Rolex only person but I would recommend experiencing the Rolex brand early on just to have a feel for it.

Cheers

Two different watches. If you really like the green sub then just wait. Since you already have a sub in your collection I think the DJ in blue dial will be a great addition.

I'm a DJ fan so I say grab it. I'm not one to play politics with my or any AD.

Hmm, interesting position to be in. i think that you can maybe try for both.
Personally, i'd grab the dj41 and ask for the sub after still. could edge them out

Thanks for all your inputs very appreciate.
As i mentioed, i like both watches but prefer the Sub a bit more over DJ41 for my wearability (even i already have the black Sub).
I will speak to SA to hear - if her manager says i might get Greensub within a year so i will delay top pick up my DJ which would be fine with me, if no timeframe given at all for the Sub then i'll definitely take the DJ now :)
