No way you’ll regret that. That watch is pretty much already an icon.

I believe I saw your watch in person in MD. If so, that is an absolutely stunning example. Many congrats!

Congrats!
I picked one up in July. It's worth the price IMO. Enjoy!

Actually if you have a full set that’s not a bad price. Congratulations. My husband has one and it’s my favourite Rolex.

Ugly watch then and still an ugly watch to me.

I didn’t buy it before because I always thought Rolex would eventually make a stainless steel version, but that hasn’t happened. Rolex will probably announce a stainless smurf this week
I paid $13k for my hulk and I haven’t regretted that purchase. Hopefully I’ll feel the same about my smurf.

Congratulations. One of my favorites, although now probably out of my reach with the price escalations!

Congrats….one of the very best!

I wonder what a SS version would do to this watch too sometimes but as more time passes and case styles change….I believe it will sit alone as a favorite classic amongst the purists.

Great piece. I think you made a good buy and prices will hold on this piece. Besides when you are buying a 40k plus watch then odds are an established buyer who can afford to pay what you need to and enjoy it so good for you ! It’s an amazing piece and truth be told this is one watch I have not seen in the wild and I am in dallas. . I’ve seen gold subs , gold yachtmasters , Blnrs, blros, Daytona’s etc. but not this piece it pops !! Enjoy it and post about it in 5 years I bet you won’t be disappointed about value

I can only recall seeing a WG Sub one time in the wild in a high-end shopping mall.

Beautiful -- congrats. My favorite of the non-black bezel Subs.
