It's been over 20 yrs since I last bought a Rolex from my AD and then in early 2020 I started to visit my local AD to express interest in several watches that I wanted. Within 3 months they allocated me the BLNR right before Christmas, I was shock to get it since I haven't been a customer with them for awhile. After that I keep in close communication with them in hopes of getting the Daytona for my 50th birthday in 2022 but to my surprised they called me in today to pick up the Daytona.

My AD snail mail me an invitation to have me make an appointment to come in. At first I though it was just an AD event but when I arrive I notice that I was the only one and they sat me in a private area. When my SA arrive he was just talking to me to see how I was doing but then he wanted to show me a wall display that was in the boutique. When he flip the switch, the Rolex display started to go up and behind it was a Daytona for me. Once again I was totally shock that they allocated it to me in such a short time span.

I have to thank my great AD and all the SA for giving me a Christmas to remember.

What an amazing delivery idea thy got for you. I’m sure you deserve such an attention.
Also, your collection is really a fantastic one.

Congratulations and enjoy your watches. Both of them are at the top of my list. Sounds like a great AD to have a relationship with.

Congrats!

(You must be a really nice guy for them to just "allocate" a BLNR for you, then a Daytona - I've spent 4 years visiting ADs and all I have to show for it are a bunch of catalogs! )

I have to say I'm lucky to have such a great AD to work with. The SA honestly told me that they like my demeanor and they appreciate that was patient with them and didn't constantly bug them about the watches. I got to know several SA personally and in return they got to know me as well.

I posted on 11/19 how my wife and SA surprised me for my 50th with the exact same piece. I am still in shock that they pulled it off and dated the card on my actual 50th.
I read your post and at that time I comment that I hope my AD surprise me like yours did and surely enough I got the same surprised. :) Happy 50th to you once again.

Well you're in front of me because I'm on the list for the pamphlet. Once I get that they said they will put me on the list for a catalog...
