To Hulk owners, what are your feelings of a speculated new Hulk?

Utter devastation on the grey dealers side.
Kidding aside, it just happened last year wound the Batman on oyster was reintroduced.

And the OG Batman 116710 BLNR is still going strong.

What, re-release a watch like they did with the oyster bracelet on the GMT IIs recently?

If I owned one, admittedly, I would be not happy.

And to the current Kermit/Cermit/Starbucks owners, how would this make you feel?

Rolex does have a recent history of “throwing a curveball” at some of its most recent iconic models: for example, release of SS Pepsi in 2018 when previously only available in PM, then relating oyster version of Pepsi, and releasing oyster option for new Batman. In those cases, angering owners of the previous “original” models.

Nobody other than Rolex HO knows whats going to be released until ‘the’ day of release….every year speculation and faked images and leaks just check Jan-Feb 2021 posts ..

Kermit / Hulk / Starbucks all great watches in they’re own right and if they do a Starbucks with an extra shot of creme de menth so be it….

Agreed. The appearance of it in the rolex catalog will bring more eyeballs to the 116610LV too. It's not like they'll produce enough to satisfy demand any better than the starbucks which is still close to the hulk in price.

I'll buy the new one and ALSO keep the original. It's a great watch.

I own a Hulk. I hope they release it again.

Great watch to have in the collection. The sunburst green dial is amazing. If they release it again, more people can enjoy it and that's not a bad thing.

It would be nice if one day, people could buy and enjoy the watches they want without having to worry about speculating on future price or value retention.

No flexing, just having it tucked under a sleeve enjoying it for themselves and nobody else.

The speculation is rubbish but I'm not bothered either way.

I loved the 16610LV until I met it person. The 116610LV dial looked garish to me until I saw it in person and fell in love. The build quality and finish also addressed the shortcomings of its predecessor.

I have my grail and I've mentally moved on. I added a 116613LV and I don't want another Sub or Sub date. Mission accomplished. The mission of wearing and enjoying the hell out of them until my children inherit them is now in progress.

If a Mk2 Hulk is released at some point it is unlikely to significantly affect the value of the 11 series. From my perspective this is a pity. I would like to feel less nervous about wearing mine in more and more everyday situations. I don't want a safe queen.

Why all these “leaked” have to have such poor photo qualities?

It doesn’t matter either way….. no one will be able to get the “new hulk” anyway.
But if they do release it, I think the price will immediately skyrocket past the current prices of the “original hulk”. Like the Pepsi oyster….. trading at almost triple msrp.

Did you read this back to yourself before you posted?

“Angering”

Apmsl.

In answer to your original question, it’s irrelevant.

IF (and those terrible photoshops don’t convince me at all) Rolex brought out a new 41mm hulk it will still be impossible to get and have no affect on prices so it’s a status quo.

Because they are fake, and then they are quality-reduced to look like a “spy shot” of some kind, shot with a Minolta pocket camera from the Cold War which James Bond has hidden in the sole of his shoe…. When in reality everyone has an 18mp camera on their phone and can take professional quality pics with no training….

The answer lies in your question.

"Poor quality". Enough said.

The original Hulk will worth even more because the new Hulk will be in PM model not SS.

dont think rolex would put exactly the same green dial on a ss model into a new PM model.

I noticed there are a number of discussions here and on other platforms about these photos. I was always under the impression that the information of these "new releases" leaked and not the photos. The photos were probably made up afterwards (for a visual representation) when the information was supposedly found out about. Really no reason to get so critical on the details of these photos imo.

sure the difference is huge, 1mm in case size! any watch enthusiast should be able to spot the difference within 5 feet.

Well seeing as my 116610LV is no longer going to be considered "rare" and people won't think I'm well cool anymore AND its going to be worthless, I just stamped all over mine and threw it in the bin. I mean, why would I continue to wear a watch just because I liked it?

I do not own the 116610LV and I don't think it's a good idea to bring the same configuration back in the future, I love the three generations with each having its unique features. I think it's best to let the 116610LV be that one special SS Rolex Submariner with green dial and green sunburst dial.

I don’t own nor want one. I would be disappointed though as it’s just another demonstration of restraint. Certainly Rolex does not need to be a leader in innovation, but as a watch enthusiast it would be nice to see something a bit more creative than recycling ideas.
