Great little toy. Secured one over here at the west coast. Seems like the speed prognosis is holding up. The thing is very noticably faster than the 3g. I am wondering what to do with all the extra time. I know how to take pictures, now I only gotta figure out how to post them ...

Apparently AT&T has sold out of their allotment. However, I'm sure you can order it from Apple and they'll have it in stock as I think they tend to keep more stock for themselves.

If you go through the update process on AT&T, you can see if they have availability. Or you can go to Apple and go through the same process (www.apple.com/store) and check there as well.

Guys here this....i tried taking video on the iphone 3gs...Guess what...i can send it to you tube right away and they will compress the file..then as soon as its posted you can sendit via text message to everyone right away..Isnt that so cool??? I have some issue though with the Voice recognition...When i say "calling Leo" she said calling Anthony..hahahahah i guess i need to practice pronunciation...hahahahaah

You can also check Walmart and Best Buy. I don't think it will be as difficult to buy the iPhone 3G S as it was for the iPhone 3G. Apple used to have a feature that allowed you to check the iPhone stock at the different Apple stores when the 3G came out but I don't see that feature anymore which leads me to believe that anyone should be able to buy the new iPhone within the next couple of weeks.
