That's right. You either go grey or drop an obscene amount on diamonds/jewelry far in excess of the grey premium to get your watch.
I was born in the dark, but it wasn't last night so the 2 rolex I bought in the last 11 months are grey.

It's probably best to simply go to your preferred dealer and grab whatever you can get your hands on.
Alternately, you could look around at other brands to see what you like.

Buying any Rolex that's easy to get on the day is almost guaranteed to be a perfect recipe for utter dissapointment any way one looks at it.
