The Milgauss will drop in the short-term then clearly pick-up in 6 months time when the inevitable speculation around it being discontinued starts up again.

If I was looking to buy a Milgauss then today is the day.

My wholesale prices still the same in Asia.
“Correction” is wishful thinking for some.
However the strong dollar/weak yen is subarashii:)

Probably the same case for the Daytona range…
Speculation will come in about 6-8months time and prices will go up and up

That’s the wholesale / retail price spread. Not unique to watches. I find chrono24 values very close to asking price at the big, quality second hand dealers

It's simple when it comes to "watch value." What are the grey dealers asking price? That's your value. Reputable grey market dealers are in the business of selling watches and they try to turnaround quickly. They have bills to pay, employees to pay, etc. If a watch gets marked up too high and they see there are no buyers then they bring the price down to where there are buyers. That's the market value. Now if you sell to a grey then of course you as the seller do not get the full market value because they have to make a profit. You are selling BELOW market price. Chrono24 is not that far off from true market value.

Not sure what you are doing wrong, but I move 100k a month on that site alone.

Sounds like listening to the haves and the have nots.
1. “Haves” …. An owner of Rolex watches talking the market up to puff up their investment value
2. “Have Nots” …. Wannabe Rolex owners talking the prices down in the hope of getting in at lower levels.

It is also not always possible to feel calm on the Chrono 24 platform.
Their customer protection service is not fully thought out.

No idea about correction or not but I have noticed inventory piling up some. I think we have seen a plateau for now. Daytona on OF prices have gotten somewhat absurd IMO. Once new releases hit grey we might see a bump(?) but that won't be for a few months.

Same as last year. Prices only seem to rise.

What makes you think I'm doing anything wrong? I'm just saying what the trade to retail average spread is.

Don’t know, my grey offered me £19k for my Batman, they go for 20-21 on Chrono. Pretty close I would say
