So you goy offered a 10% discount then you have two options to buy or not would could be more simpler.

I would buy it. A great watch and a lot of fun to wear and it is a strap monster.

A discount is nice but this is a Tudor. Discounts should be and will be common as the economy cools. There is no legit reason Tudor should be trading for MSRP anyway.

I have one and it's a great watch. If you're looking for under the radar, I say go for it.

Yes! I went for it at retail and have no regrets. Bought it on a bracelet then had my AD order the fabric nato.

This watch has potential. However it's compromised:
- No crown guards
- Faux riveted bracelet

If they had addressed those two shortcomings it would have competed too closely with the Sub. The watch has a fan base - but I'm not one of them. I couldn't unsee those two items.

Without a doubt it's good value if you happen to like it. It won't lose as much as Omega does (ie. 40% out the door)

40%? I paid $4200 for my seamaster last year and I could sell it for close to that. I think omega is doing better in resale than 10 years ago.

Nice watch, especially if the dimensions work for you. Considering BB58s aren't widely offered a discount (at least in CA), go for it.

Tudor should definitely be trading at MRSP as they are an excellent value for money product at that MRSP.

Then you got a good deal to start with.

Take this Diver 300M, MSRP $5400
https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/w...21030422003001

Ebay for a paltry $3300
https://www.ebay.com/itm/28476198711...AAAOSwwVJiVJbf

Subtract 12.5% ebay selling fees, you'll left with $2887 change in your pocket

2887/5400 = 53%

TRF price likely even better than ebay

That ebay post is a bit misleading. The watch in that listing is actually a 212.30.41.20.01.002. It is a 12+ year old watch with an original MSRP of somewhere around $3600-$3900. This is when 20-25% discounts were common so if you bought well, you probably got it brand new for ~$3100 as a high estimate. So, no a 12 year old watch with a modified ETA movement isn't going to get you massive returns, but the owner of that watch could sell it outright for at least what he got it for.

I am not really trying to argue with you, just educate that today's Omega doesn't take a huge immediate hit anymore, and if you hold onto it for a few years, with pricing as it is, you will liekly get most of your money out of it.

Did you go for it?

I love mine. It may not say Rolex on the dial, but that's not a negative in my book.

It's comfortable, durable and looks great. Perfect "beater". Buy on bracelet and order the nato, which is the absolute best nato made.

I bought it last summer while on vacation. As others have mentioned, it gave off a vintage Rolex vibe which I loved. It is a beautiful watch, though I have only worn it once.

It's a great looking watch. Superior in many ways to Rolex.

It's a great watch. I am wearing one everyday now from september 2021.
Only "fault" is that I miss too much having a date on a day to day watch.

Keeps fantastic time too (under 1.5sec/day)

I’d do it if I didn’t already have two Tudors.

I assume by the lack of updates you decided not to buy it.

I've seen this watch and its black cousin several times at my AD and I have been underwhelmed every time. It looks terrific in photos but just doesn't wow in person in my opinion. Looks small and the blue color that looks so sharp in pictures looks a little dull in person. Not sure why.

Nothing wrong with the watch but nothing super exciting either. And I like Tudors...

Fantastic watch, amazing value, lots of fun vintage-inspired features, perfect size and an excellent movement.

The only feature I dislike - the rivet bracelet - doesn’t bother me at all. It’s hard to describe, but on the wrist the rivets largely seem to ‘disappear’ from view, or become much less noticeable at any rate. I reckon it’s because the rivets are polished and as such reflect the skin colour and thus sort of blend in with my skin. Either way, they no-longer bother me.

As for the snowflake hand: it’s historical, it’s practical, it’s a welcome unique Tudor aesthetic. It’s great.

I adore my Submariner 114060, but the BB58 is better value, more ‘fun’, better sized, more comfortable and more discrete on wrist.

If you think it will get wrist time based on your collection -- picking it to wear over the Daytona or the Batman -- then go for it. The value proposition is there and it is a good watch.
I also wear all my watches and always do this calculus before picking up any new piece. Very sound advice here.
