If anyone knows a bullion dealer equipped with an XRF machine it will show exactly what the constituents are. I assume Rolex uses 25% ???? recovered from a crashed flying saucer though since no one seems to have ever done this.

The gold In my TT Sub looks fine to me, not too light, not too dark.

I think it is the polishing that makes it look less gold. Probably has to do with how the material reflects light. In direct sunlight, it is hard to tell if polished 18K is gold or not. However, when I look at the underside of bracelet links that are brushed, they look very gold in all light and angles.
