GMT for the reasons already mentioned and it sits flatter than the Submariner. Nice bit of bling too with the PCLs and bezel font.

All these guys had their subs secured in their watch boxes long before venturing after a colorful bezel for their next watch. Sub!

GMT is my choice but the clean and beautifully proportioned sub dial as well as glide lock should not be underestimated.

Both!
Sub is clean and perfect and the GMT has the black professional dial with just enough bling. Fantastic combo!

Very difficult choice… The Pepsi GMT, in all iterations, if my favorite watch. I absolutely love mine. But the Submariner (No Date) is just so simple, beautiful, and easy to wear with everything. If I could have only one…. I don’t know that I can decide. |

Definitely GMT for me. Pepsi and Batman are a mile ahead of Suby. I have / had them all, that's why the choice is so simple.

The Submariner of course. I'd love to have a GMT too, but if I can only have one, I'd choose the Submariner.

I own the BLRO and BLNR on jubilee. I own a Submariner-C ND, a SD43 and a DSSD JC so I have some wrist time with the options listed. If I could only own one Rolex of theses it would be the BLRO on Jubilee. I would use a Tudor or Seiko as a diver. If only one watch period, it would be a Rolex Submariner-C ND.

Hulk personally gets the nod as the nicest out of the Sub and GMT lineup.

The larger profile + shiny platinum of the digits on the GMT does give it a bit more bling factor. The relatively smaller digits makes the Sub’s bezel a bit more muted. This is only relative though, but i have noticed the GMT does catch more eyes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

GMT will always be the winner for me. they both look the same but the gmt function just adds practicality.

I appreciate my Submariner but GMT essential in my line of work. Dual time-zones, cyclops, jubilee bracelet for comfort (hides scratches and scuffs better than my brushed Oyster bracelet on Sub). The connection to aviation and military--nothing comes close to a Rolex GMT.

I really like my Sea-Dweller but if pressed to choose between my 16710 and 16600 without hesitation I’m keeping the GMT.

For me GMT Batman on Oyster, something I'm seeking to find, I know I wont get it by my local AD so I'm resigned to paying Grey dealer prices which I've seen a few. They seem to be coming down a little bit but not rapidly enough to warrant pulling the trigger.
GMT suits my work life and appears much more interesting to me, the Batman colour scheme hits the mark in every way for me. May end up being another drunken regrettable purchase ..

I feel it's the perfect 2 watch collection for me. Black sub for day to day, it goes with everything. Pepsi or Batman on oyster for vacations and weekends. Panda just because it's awesome, but I'll never own one. I'm happy with 2.

My vote would be Sub, although the GMT complication is super helpful. Now, strap a non-PCL oyster on a GMT…boom

Surprised GMT gets the nod. Love both. The gmt bezel is too loud and almost cartoonish for me whereas the submariner is more low key. In my opinion at least. But do love them both and hope to get a gmt down the road
