Working with multiple ADs

Yes, but they aren't the from the same chain. More the merrier.

I have heard of some chains frowning upon hitting up more than one store, it shows you could be a flipper. Many of them keep a shared database. Non-chains have no way of knowing what you are doing elsewhere other than word of mouth.

If you are in the San Jose , CA area your best bet would be to work with the J. Licht boutique. The boutique will get the most watches, they will also have the most clients. I would visit often and try to meet the manager and get to know everyone there. Nothing wrong with trying multiple ADs but over time I think working with the boutique would be my preference. Now getting the boutique to sell you a watch is another story, so just go in and start talking to everyone.

I do live in the Bay Area and J Licht is my AD #2 in my scenario and while I have luck talking to them and have my info taken down on a sub date. Still no allocation and it’s been a few months.
