Explorer and OP Silver. Both 36mm, brushed bracelets, time-only, similar specs. But to me, they’re different enough and enjoy having them both.

Sub and Seamaster Pro 300. Definitely different look and feel to both watches, but direct competitors for sure.

According to my wife, my BLNR and YM are exactly the same watch and she doesn’t understand why I have to have two of them…

I’m guessing most non-watch-people would find a black-dialed SMP300 (or even a Speedy) and a black-dialed Sub to be way more similar than, say, a regular Sub and a Cermit. Whereas I bet many of us might flip that evaluation. …Maybe.

My wife doesn’t understand why anyone would want both a Sub and a Speedy, for example, or a Sub and a Batman. To her eyes, totally redundant.

My Speedmaster is on a leather strap so my wife doesn’t think it’s redundant with my Submariner, but she definitely thinks my Seamaster and Submariner are. I keep telling her one is black and the other is blue. lol
