It is possible to buy directly from the atelier. That said, there is much to be said for buying through an AD, especially if you are not within easy travel of Switzerland. Handling service is easier when you just ship it to your AD and they take care of the rest. Additionally, an AD may have more consistent access to product than a single purchaser might.

Same as me! Nevertheless, an enquiry this week has led to a really polite response from LF, deposit paid and expected delivery by Dec 2024 :-(

Hmm nice to look forward to something. I’m sure you’ll be pleased come then. But yeah that’s too long to interest me at this point. Certainly longer than I’d give a deposit for.

Yes, Robert Bailey is their Head of Sales who responded to my inquiry via their web site.

Cool! That looks like one of Spark’s 1:43 scale models.

Laurent drove at LeMans several times during the 1970's, although the 1979 result was his best. You have a model of the car LF and teammates drove to their podium finish. He drove a Porsche 934 in 1977, and a Chevron B36 in 1976. It's not often that the maker of a sports watch has such a direct connection to top level sport.

I have the 1977 car and am currently waiting for the 1976 one. The 1979 model will complete my set . It's a nice change from a ball cap or polishing cloth!

Achingly beautiful, but $240K and 310 grams. A heavy watch in all respects.
