He says “all cards included”. Is there more than one card? Have I been getting screwed all this time?

We've had pretty much that same question posted here a few times over the years. Responses were always fairly brutal.

I'm sure he was legit. As I said, this question has been posted before by several new buyers over the last few years. People might know what the watch is for but not exactly how it functions.

Well at least he’s learning, or will learn how to set his watch in due course. I’m happy that he’s got a watch he likes!

Reminds me of the guy who bought a watch second hand and was disgruntled when he discovered there was no second hand.

About 10 years ago my friend bought an IWC Mark XVI. After a week, it stopped. (didn't wear it for two days)

Took it to local watchmaker and asked if they could replace the battery. He was dead serious. He had absolutely no idea what is a mechanical watch.

When my daughter started Midwife training I gave her my late Mum's Oris mechanical fob watch from when she qualified back in the early 60s. It was in mint condition and working order.

A week later I was informed the watch had stopped and would be going in for a new battery. When I suggested that she should try winding it because it was not battery powered, the response was "Wind it? How?". I'd just assumed that she knew what I knew, without factoring in the obvious differences, which became very obvious once I started to think about them.

I wouldn't put this in the same category as someone buying a GMT Master and not knowing what the reference hand does, nor reading the instructions that either came with it, or could be pulled off the website in less time than it takes to type it.
