My thoughts exactly. I would ask your AD about the safety of doing this OP.

Looks good. To all those who say (and said when you asked I believe) that wg and ss won’t work together because they are so visually different can take a hike ha.

The difference is subtle but definitely there. Particularly with Rolex WG, it just has more of a warmer hue. I notice it when comparing my Canopus Speedie to my SS Submariner.

I’m not saying there’s no difference but they’re close enough to work together. As I said in the original thread, Rolex puts wg bezels on skyD and DJ and no one says the metals don’t look right together. Same for all SS index markers and hands.

Isn’t it risky to use stainless steel spring bars on white gold? Won’t it deteriorate the lug holes over time

The concern expressed by others is because if you use a stainless steel spring bar on a gold case it will widen the holes on the case over time. The steel bars are harder than gold. That’s why on full PM models they’ll come with matching PM spring bars. They aren’t complaining about the aesthetics of WG vs SS.

In this case, the OP confirmed he is reusing the original WG spring bars.

WG bezels aren’t under constant strain like spring bars. Spring bars are reponsible for keeping the bracelet intact with the case. A lot of times when a watch head falls off it’s usually due to spring bar failure or a bracelet link screw backing out due to no loctite.

The low-key WG home run hitter. Congrats!

I get it but OP had a thread a while back (or someone) asked if jubilee would work on wg Pepsi and many people said that the metals wouldn’t go together aesthetically.

Very cool. I always wondered how that'd look. Does it wear more top heavy?
