I don't use the hotel safe; I think putting them in our dirty laundry or between underwear / socks is much more of a deterent.

We also don't do housekeeping when we travel.

That dial is a stunner so I’m curious to get your thoughts on the proportions.
Thanks! I love everything about the Alpine Eagle, not just the dial. The case size is perfect (fits just a hair smaller than my Hulk - more like my 16710), the bracelet is very comfortable and the metal itself gives off a brilliant shine like WG or platinum. You can probably tell my love for it based on how many pictures I shared here.

Is that a regular production piece, or a limited edition?
That's actually the regular blue dial that I have. I believe the green dial is a limited run, though I find the blue the most attractive of all of the AE dials. You have to see it in person; truly stunning.

I didn't grow up in Vegas but my parents have lived here for nearly 20 years now, so I consider myself a local when I'm here.

That being said, our favorite hotels are Wynn / Encore, Aria and the Cosmo, in no particular order. They're more of that updated / contemporary style that my wife and I like at our age (39).

Bellagio / Caesars / Venetian are nice, but they give off more of the sophisticated, older vibe - at least for us. The new Resorts World is just a glorified Hilton, and don't get me started on Fremont Street.

What's wrong with Fremont? I always stay at the Golden nugget. My wife and I love that hotel.
