DJ 36 too big for a female?

Women who wears 36mm and above approved by today fashion police . It is very sexy in my opinion.

So 36 is definitely not too big.

Even Daytona (38.x mm) is fine

It's a matter of wrist size, not gender. In this case, to my eye a 34mm would look better.

My wife wears a DJ36. Definitely not too big for her.

I’m not trying to contradict what I just said, but showing the tennis pros could be a little misleading since many are quite tall. Bouchard is 5’11”. Ana Ivanovic, who used to always wear Daytona (and more recently others) is 6’.

I’m new here and to the Rolex world and was hoping to get advice from you guys.

I bought my very first Rolex in July 2022 from an AD here in Sydney, after a 4 month wait. I was on the waiting list for a DJ 31 and DJ 36, but the 36 became available first. I got a Stainless Steel & 18k Everose Gold with white MOP Diamond Dial Jubilee Bracelet. I love my watch and I’ve always liked big watches but somehow, I feel it’s a tad too big on my wrist. It’s probably what the salesperson from Rolex said that unfortunately stucked to my head. She said the 31mm would give a classier look. I got lucky to be able to get my Rolex after just waiting for 4 months. A lot of people I know waited for much longer. I wouldn’t want to wait again as I might have to wait longer this time so I decided to purchase it even if I was half hearted about the size.

What do you guys think? Would really appreciate some input as it’s kind of bothering me. For reference, I’m female, 46, 5'2” and 58 kilos. My wrist size is 15cm.

Thanks.
WHAT ? NOOO ! ITS PERFECT !
Your sales person is an IDOIT ! You dont need a 31mm the 36 looks GREAT !
I am female and I wear 40MM.
Your watch is beautiful and looks very good on you. I too like a bigger watch and I am glad for you that the 36mm came in first because it looks right on your wrist. IGNORE anyone that tells you a 31mm has more 'CLASS'.
Besides.. people who use that word often have none. lol
Enjoy your baby and wear it in good health !

First - congrats on getting the watch to start with! I think that's a stunning combination you have.

Second - NOPE! Not too big - 36mm is just about perfect for anyone. Shaq might need a 41, but for normal sized people the 36 is really the sweet spot in my opinion.

Nice watch, congratulations.

If you think it fits, it fits. If you think it doesn't fit, it doesn't.

Looks fantastic.

I tried to convince my wife to get the 36 but she wanted the 31 instead, and the saleswoman agreed with her. My wife’s wrist size is 6.25”.

That watch is classy in any size, wear it in good health always.

They don’t make a 34mm DJ though, right?

That's a beautiful piece! Excellent choice! Congrats. I think the 36mm looks perfect on you. Ladies are wearing larger watches these days. I've seen lots wearing 41mm DJ and 40mm sports Rolex too. Enjoy that beautiful watch!

Welcome to TRF.

It really depends on the 'look' you are going for or want. I do believe the DJ31 is the more classic look for your sized wrist, much like a 36 is for most (not all) men.

I see your watch as giving you the wrist presence that I find the DJ41 gives to most (again, not all) men. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it does NOT look too big for you, but it is on the bigger side for the classic DJ aesthetic. I'm sorry if this is confusing, but that's my take. Bottom line, it looks good on you!

I think it’s the perfect size for a female unless she has very tiny wrists. It’s my girlfriend’s daily, and she also routinely wears one of my subs.

Totally depends on wrist size, more so occasion.

I think your pic looks good. But I might go smaller if formal.

My wife has just sized up to a 40mm GMT, so don’t let it bother you.

I still like the 26 for a lady, old school guy.
The Mrs prefers 31 but also confiscated my Deepsea
Who am I to judge
