If you’re already thinking of an exit strategy, just pass.

Buy it, wear it a short while then sell it or trade it.

I would never choose to pass a 126710BLRO. Get it!

This hurt me reading that story.

Thanks all for the comments - helpful feedback from fellow WIS. And yes this crossed my mind, that the next guy on the list could be waiting for an instant flip anyway

On a serious note, it's a terrific piece, and I'd take every opportunity to add it to my collection. Could totally co-exist with your 16710.

Congratulations in advance.
Thanks pal - appreciate it

Unfortunate, but a valuable anecdote.

A reference being discontinued is not something I really have thought about.

Obviously apples and oranges, but this is another reason for me to pick up the Air King I want as soon as it comes in. I was thinking of passing to see the new Exp40, but you never know what can happen.

If you buy it, you'll likely find yourself selling your other watches.

It's just such a fantastic reference.

The BLRO is a piece of cake. I wouldn't hesitate and buy it. Chances are they'll grow fond of it.

Not really sure what you mean sorry. I’ve got the call and debating whether to pull the trigger, how could I have already picked it up for this to make sense?

A couple of years on again, and without any contact, I’ve got the call from the AD that there’s a 126710blro for me.

I’m aware of the grey market premium and whilst I would not want to flip it right away, the fact that I could enjoy it for a year or so and sell it on at a profit is on my mind if I’m being honest.

WWYD?
Pass, and let someone on the wait/interest list next in line to purchase the watch to enjoy wearing long term.

You must buy it. Without owning it you can’t know how good it will be. Life is short and opportunities like these need to be captured.

Buy it and enjoy. It hits completely different than the 16710

Buy it wear it enjoy it. If you move it along later that’s ok. It’s just a watch. Yes some folks will think that it should go to only the most devout Rolex seeker but like I said, it’s just a watch.

If you can swing it buy it. With it on your wrist, you will quickly remember why you wanted it so bad. I wish I was in your shoes

Buy it, wear it, and if you don't like it, sell it (chances are you will really like it, but if you don't, it's not like you're going to lose money.) It's very different from the 16710 and you might find you like having both.

Apologies for my sarcasm, I was only trying to say that you should pull the trigger already; It is a great watch, and it is only going to be a win win purchase for you since can chose to flip it after enjoying it for as long as you would want to if you don't feel like keeping it.

If you don't feel like it is what you need at this moment, then pass it.
