Does anyone know when the new boxes were introduced? I think it was sometime around 2022 or 2023

Someone else answered when it was introduced but to give you some context on why it was changed. I was told it was due to ESG and the SAs (mine) seem to prefer the new box as the old box would be covered with finger prints (even if it was brand new) when they took it out and didn't look as nice.

Our government is broken but I think AP is trying their best. I kinda gave up in the middle of 22 and just used the opportunity of visiting AP house to try some "nicer" whiskeys (i.e. the Johnnie Walker Blue Label) + get a nice breakfast nearby / spend the day out in Central London. The goal was to try all the whiskeys on the shelf.

My first 2022 allocation in the spring was the glossy box. My second allocation and my wife's allocation in the summer of 2022 came in the new box and then it's been the new matte boxes since then. I'm assuming sometime in the first half of 2022 is when they made the switch.
