Yeah. One of the saleswomen came by and was saying how it's there because in case you're in the dark you can get a reference to get oriented with the face. The lume is only present on the hands and that single baton. Then I re-iterated by stating that most watches would have a single baton at 12 o'clock for that purpose and she repied with "not all watches are made like Rolexes" LOL

Maybe the green trim has lume?

I'm going to be in the minority here....sorry...I just don't like them......each to their own as they say....maybe in the flesh they'll look better but I like the fact that the older DJ's were significantly smaller than all the sports line (excepting the Explorer I of course)

Flame me at will....anyone else feel like me.....or am I weird (don't answer that last bit!)

WOW!

Thanks for taking your time to post these, Mario.

I like the increased size.

The black w/white is my choice, too.

I had my heart set upon a new TOG, but...

Hard choice!

Not sure, but maybe the OP could answer this question since he saw the watches in person.

JJ I'm with you! The silver with Arabic is a very nice looking watch! As mentioned earlier, is the blue on the first pic really that blue? I'm a big fan of blue but I'm not sure if that light of a blue would look right? I've called two AD's that I deal with locally and they are saying late September when they'd be receiving them...Is that what everyone else is hearing or are they out somewhere already?!

Been looking at either a SS DJ or GV Milgauss but now it looks like I'm just going to have wait a few more weeks!

I saw the blue dial watch today, that is a fair representation of the actual blue, a bit too washed out for my liking!

I don't recall exactly what the MSRP was... I will ask the AD when I get a chance.

I took the photo below having set both watches to odd days for that very reason! Maybe sometime in the future? Is the roulette wheel available on the DD or DDII? That may be an indicator...
