after 30+ years of collecting Submariners mostly but also sea dwellers: have to admit the 16600 is the actual *sweet spot* of all diving generations prior and ahead.
the right excitement compared to Subs (all in the details: different dial, no bubble but date, escape valve vs/ 0 , beefier case but nice compared to big modern ones etc),
the right case proportions and weight compared to prior and recent sea dwellers.

it's the classic no one realizes it is.

Congratulations! The 5-digit SD is by far the most comfortable to wear of any of the Seadweller family, IMHO. I also have a SD4K and a SD43, but the 16600 gets the most wrist time by a long shot.
