Sorry about that - I regret starting the thread. I thought maybe others had experienced something similar in owning multiple of the same watch. I’m going to ditch the first one and move on. Thanks for the gentle push.

I have some of the worst obsessive issues, but you're right there with me it seems lol

Truth be told I think my hesitation just comes from memories made with the prior one and when I finally got the new one there was a bit of a sadness at letting the first one go. Which led to thoughts about did I really care about the polish in the first place and would I rather just keep the first one given those memories. But then I made the mistake of coming on here asking the forum for sentimental advice. LOL

This is one of the funniest posts (and replies) yet.

The only way this makes sense would be if you bought one to wear and the other as an investment, for instance with stickers. I know people that do that with scotch, one to drink, one to sell (at some point). This piece isn't an investment. I understand you're complaint about the polishing, etc, in which case sell the more pre owned one and keep the pre owned one!

PS - At the end of the day, you have an (TWO) awesome watch. Great looking Daytona IMO.

Same watch in different variations yeah. But the same exact watch? Seems like you have more money than sense lol.

You say that BUT it's easy to get into the "collect them all" mindset with this hobby.

I suppose you have 2 wrists? Why not wear one on each?
