I don't know if i'd invest, but the initial 'bang for your buck' might be worth it.

I am a huge fan of both these great manufacturers and although I would normally lean towards the Patek in this case I would go with the Saxonia.

The movement on this is beautiful - as per ALL L&S timepieces through the sapphire case.

Also the movement on the Patek is quite a bit smaller then the case unlike the Lange.

And finally, I am not a fan of the "Hobnail" bezel.

Another Patek to consider imo would be the 5196 in G or P

In fact I am thinking about getting one of these makes, as I would like to have a manual watch.
