It appears there's more evidence that when wearing the time piece more it keeps it going, some watch repairers have been given Rolex's that have been worn every day for decades, without a service.

With all of the repairers out there, it would be more accessible to service a Rolex.

Bro… take a step back.

Here's an idea.:.....

Work from home, swap timepieces at your leisure, or to match today's outfit, or just, you know, because. Does there really need to be a reason? No 'plans', wing it. just wear and enjoy.

That's what I do.

Wow, that is taking it to the extreme. I usually will wear one watch per day or for a few days changing it when I want to wear something different. I have worn 2 watches in one day but it was more due to an event I was attending in the evening.

As others have stated, two a day is easy and uncomplicated, if you change when you get home from work. Three a day requires a bit more thought.

I would wear a watch on each wrist, but close my right eye for the first half of the day, and then switch to the other eye the second part of the day.

I believe the ideal approach can be reached by integrating an infinite series as below:

∑n=1∞1(2n−1)⋅3n−1=∑n=1∞∫01x2n−2dx3n−1

Friend, you sound like you’re working too hard. Pro Tip: Wear whatever you want whenever you want. Some watches will get neglected, some will get more attention and this ratio may change seasonally. It’s OK, watches don’t have feelings and this process helps you to identify watches of less interest that may need to be moved on. Watch collecting is an organic process, to regiment it is missing the point, and the joy.

Honestly... I couldn't help but laugh reading this post. Just wear it and don't over think it. If you happen to change watches during the day, then great.

You don't need to plan a wrist workout regimen around your watch rotation. LOL!

I know this “hobby” is getting crazier (scratch and polish mania, timekeeping obsession, weird color dials, daily following of resale prices, AD love or hate - but this sets a new mark.

I agree with much of what has already been said. This is way too overcomplicated.

If you feel like switching watches intra-day…take one off, give the new one a shake, and slap it on. Done.
