I prefer the Everose (RG) mostly. It looks good on my skin tone since I have a pinkish hue, so it really complements it. I just think Rolex's RG is stunning.

I've tried Rolex RG, YG, WG and Platinum...

I'd have to go with yellow gold. I actually find it subtle comparatively. Full RG is just too pretty for me. I had it in a Daytona, GMT and a DD40. Just ordered a DJ41 RG TT. Hoping the blends of metal will mute the RG a little bit

You can't go wrong with either of them but I prefer Rose gold, I still have yellow gold in my list.

I was hoping for loads of shots of beautiful YG/RG PM pieces in this thread.

But I realise looking at some of these photos that I almost cannot tell which is YG and which is RG.

I owned a bluesy. Yg just didn’t work for me. Moved on from it. Now have a chnr. Love the RG! Since getting it I haven’t worn anything else. Yesterday I put my sub41 on so it didn’t feel neglected. My 11-year-old said “dad, why arnt u wearing the other one? (Chnr) it’s my fav.

Do you prefer yellow gold Rolex or Everose gold?

Sometimes and usually due to lighting it’s hard to differentiate between YG and RG but you will develop an eye for it.

Here’s some YG for you…

I prefer yellow gold to rose gold. RG is not really my thing, I find it a bit muted and dull. RG feels like I'd like to wear gold, but not really. At least with WG, you know you want to wear it without anyone noticing, just for yourself. RG sits somewhere in between and I can't see an occasion when I'd like to wear it.

Yellow gold is more classic IMO, but if I'm been offered a Rose gold I will take it at a glance, both are beautiful but YG will make more sense to me.

Happy to oblige. I mean YG DD is classic Rolex. 36 was too small for me, I think the 40 is perfect, as do many others.

I prefer Yellow Gold but that's because it works better with my skin tone.

I’m a white gold fan. Have a YG TT watch I’ve had for +30 years but I don’t see me buying a full YG watch anytime soon

YG gets my votes especially in two tone as it has the cool 80s vibe which is very much on trend. I would still love to have a RG piece in my collection either a daytona on Oysterflex or a DJ41.

I think most of the rose gold watches are beautiful, and I love some of the offerings on a strap. If that were my only option…(and on some references it is)…I’d take the RG, but I personally prefer yellow gold

I feel YG looks better in lighter skin whereas RG look great with a tan (thus why I love a chocolate dial with rose gold for the awesome blend)

I was never a fan of white gold as I dont see a point of paying $50k extra for something that looks like stainless steel
