Hmmmmmm.......

To me, it looks as bad as a lime green, hand painted ( with a half-inch brush ) Mclaren SLR, with an orange racing stripe and cheap 20" spinners and a "turbo" stick-on badge on the rear bumper.

But, somebody somewhere has one, I expect, and loves it to bits!!

God bless freedom of choice, we'd be a poorer world without it!

What's with that pearl? Maybe it's the picture, but obviously it's no longer white (matching the markers) and it also appears to have some type of bleed-thru on the bottom...almost like moisture has gotten in.

The red lettering is nice...

I like the look and wish Rolex would come out with one, right now the ones I have seen on the net sell for way too much!

The SDDS is the most technical dive watch in the world and with great looks to carry it off.

Why do this to a beautiful watch?

It is like buying a brand new Aston Martin and then sending it off to "Pimp my Ride"

Sorry - not to my taste or ethics of a Rolex watch, made for scuba diving.

I like it ......

whilst it would not be for me I have personally seen previous Pro-Hunter watches and the attention to detail is amazing. I don't think it is something Rolex would introduce but there is clearly a market for them.

The original looks and feels great for me. This one falls short especially with the NATO.
For the money, they should throw in the original bracelet...

Although I'm a purist, I have to admit the pix are interesting. All I can say is to each his own - if you absolutely love the look and are prepared to pay the asking price, then by all means go for it.

I would never refuse a watch (assuming you're talking about getting it free of charge). But accepting a free watch and actually keeping it are two totally different things. There's probably not one member on TRF that wouldn't take this for free, but judging from the responses from this thread alone, it sure doesn't look like it would be a keeper.

You might want to ask that to the fish on the end of my spear gun...or the lobsters off Laguna Beach's numerous beach dive sites (only during lobster season of course)...

I a saw and tried on a similar watch customized by Phillip (from VRF) at the Carmel GTG, it looked sweet.

I hate the Deepsea SD, therefore, anything that could be done to improve it fine with me. I think it looks much better, however, remember PVD watches are worst than keeping a black car clean. The minute you hit a wall, door or any other object with the case, you'll have a nice scar for life on it.

Seriously, it was a really nice looking piece, if I came with that I would be in D.S. and that has nothing to do with water!
