I prefer the 20mm bracelets on the previous generation Subs. I also think the green dial on the Hulk is nice, so the Hulk gets my vote

If Rolex were to introduce a new LV with a green ceramic dial that matches the ceramic bezel's color, it would be perfect with the 126 case proportions. Until that happens, I'd rather wear the 126LV, and I have a preference for the MK2 bezel over the MK1 because the latter can appear washed out in certain lighting conditions
The 2010s Rolex will go down in history as their awkward era with their boxy cases, unbalanced lugs on the Daytona, Explorer 39 with comically short hands, Datejust 2, Daydate 2, Yachtmaster 2, etc. |

Looks like over the years, the consensus has shifted more neutral to maybe even slightly favoring the 12LV.
When the new subs were first introduced in 2020, felt like the 11LV won the popularity contest by a landslide and a lot of people were disappointed the sunburst dial was phased out. I have always liked the black dial better (way more versatile), in addition to the proportions of the 12 case due to the slimmer lugs. I also only have one watch so YMMV there, but I would not like the 11LV as a "one and done" watch. It's just too much for me. |

Which ever you get at retail, so as of right now, the 12LV.

Its all about your personal preference, The Starbuck is known for its elegant and versatile design, while the Hulk is famous for its bold and eye-catching green dial, consider which style resonates with you more.

Hulk is more special, truly unique in a sea of mostly black dial watches. That will be my pick.

11. Not a fan of the black/green contrast, it just doesn’t work for me at all.

Own both and love both equally but if I have to keep only one, it would be the Hulk.

I work for a certain US environmental company whose colors are green. (I’ve been doing this for ~34 years). Only The Hulk will do.

I found this pic that compares Starbucks Mk1 vs Mk2 bezel diff. I prefer the Mk2 over the Hulk. A touch of green makes it more interesting than black on black sub...but not too bold.

It all depends on what you really want and what you have in your collections, but I will go with LV.

I own neither, but I do own an original Tudor BB, the version with an anthracite dial and dark blue bezel. I’ve had it for 9 years and the subtle color combo still looks great. I sometimes look the the all blue BB58, but I find the matching bezel and dial to be less fun.
Same goes for the sub, Starbucks looks more sophisticated than the all green hulk. First post here btw! I’m patiently awaiting the call for an Air King, speaking of subtle green and black :) |
