Picked up today new 2023 Daytona 126508 in YG with bright black sundust/gold dial with diamonds.
Immediately fell in love with this configuration. Beautiful contrast and light play that varies depending on the situation.
Can’t be happier !

Wow! I have that same exact dial on the one I bought today! I just bought a new 126519 WG with the Black ceramic bezel with that same exact dial on oyster flex and I absolutely love it. I never thought I’d want diamonds on a sports model but those diamonds on that dial are just Stunning! Congratulations on a real heavy hitter and enjoy it in the best of health my friend!

Thanks!
I was also never a big fan of diamond dials on sport watch although Rolex has been making 8 diamonds dials on Daytona since Zenitona era, until I saw the new dials in 2023 watches and wonders reports. (Photo below). With the new bright black sundust background and full gold subdials, I had impression that diamonds stand out a little less than previous 115608, but more harmonious with other elements and gives a nice overall glow and depth thanks to the light interplay with the dial.

At the boutique I had chance to compare 126519 WG OF black reverse panda two option with and without diamonds on the dial. Thry were both absolutely gorgeous. Personally diamond dial had more edge and non diamond dial almost looked too plain next to it. If I had a choice my pick would have been same as you. Congratulations for the stunning watch! Wear in good health.

What is the 2023 “Watches and wonders report”? I’d really be interested in reading that.

I meant photos and videos posted by participants during the WW fair when Rolex presented updated 2023 Daytona for the first time.
Search google video and you’ll see many.

Thank you everyone for your congratulations!
Sharing few more shots under different lightings :
I was initially worried about legibility but having worn it for over a day it turns out it’s not an issue. Thumbs up for the Rolex designer for using right combination of colors and finishes on a rather busy dial for optimal aesthetic as well as the functionality!

Congratulations on both a stunning watch and 40th birthday. A couple of months back I also got a PM Daytona, though on OF.

Mine is 208g. I figured the new one was a little heavier and was curious!

Love rocking it with the gold bracelets. Need a VCA onyx to match the black and gold motif.
