I love the 5167 and IMO it's simply the best watch for daily wear.

Still, I wouldn't trade two Daytonas for it.

after owning them, would prefer to own the aquanaut.

however they are very different watches.

the aquanaut can be underwhelming when you put it up against two Daytona.

price wise you are close but not warm and fuzzy about the "2013" aqua...

I would seek out a new one maybe with the bracelet/rubber as an option.

steel aquanaut is a very basic watch, the trade only makes sense if you get a gold aquanaut (which is beautiful) otherwise stick to Daytonas

This is what they advertised when the first run was issued in the 90s. Strictly an entry level watch for young folks to bring them into the brand. A no frills watch on a rubber strap. No where near the finishing details on the case as found with the Nautilus.
