Can anyone recommend a 'generic' Rolex reference book or any good extensive watch book that doesn't cost hundreds?
As much as I love watches my preference would be not to spend a huge amount on a book for this. Thanks |

Well guys....... I too have had a couple of wines too many and have just pulled the trigger for this book.
It looks stunning from all accounts and I love all that statistical and original data. If I get 50 hours entertainment out of it over the next year or so it's paid for itself! ![]() Anyway, I will let you guys know once it arrives. BTW..... I know the author is on here so here is a question for him: How may of the 500 have been sold or still remain? Love to know. Many thanks, Bob. |

Sorry to re-hash an old thread but a bit of background first: After about a 10 year hiatus, I've got the Rolex Submariner bug again. My son who turns 24 at the end of the year just bought his first Rolex. An M series 16610. I pulled my 1994 TT Blue dial Sub out of the safe and started wearing it. Kinda weird father and son thingy I guess but it really has reinvigorated the watch hobby within me. I was pretty crazy about these back in the mid to late 1990's but switched to cars by 2000. I'm thrilled to enjoy both at the moment. Anyway back onto the book. Can anyone tell me how many of these have been made? Some say 2000 but on the Ebay listing it says 500. Or is it 500 signed? I know the author visits these pages so if possible I'd be grateful for clarification on this. I'll post some pics when it arrives but i am getting pretty excited again... If I can get 40-50 hours enterainment out of the book over time I think it's well worth it. Cheers..... Bob. |

Sorry about my double post above........ I forgot that my initial post required validation from a moderator.
Hopefully I'm on track now. Bob. |
