I was in the AD today and they had a Pepsi, 116500 panda and pretty much everything in the case, but “exhibition only.”

I can’t say I’ve ever seen the white dial in the case.

Waited all of two months for a 124270 in the Bay Area. Zero spend history, one trip to the AD. Went to 4 different ADs starting in August inquiring about the same watch. Never heard from the other three, two with multiple visits.

Anecdotal, but was able to get a pink dial 28mm Oyster Perpetual for my mother in-law just walking into an AD I had no prior purchase history with. This was about a month ago and they also had available for purchase:
1. 28mm pink dial Oyster Perpetual
2. 31mm pink dial DateJust
3. 36mm blue with diamond hours Datejust
4. 31mm diamond bezel datejust (I think - I didn't look that closely - it was for my mother in-law, not looking to spend that much money on her)
5. Blue white gold Submariner

There were some shoppers in the store, but didn't have to fight anyone for what I wanted and nothing looked like it was being taken up on sight.

Curious from the true purchases and not those being paid for YouTube views. Cheers, and post your new watch if you’ve acquired! Happy New Year.

I believe that the watches are still difficult to purchase but it depends on the watch. An Explorer I 36mm and AK will be significantly easier to get that a Sub date, etc. You can also go gray which is an excellent option and bypass all of the AD BS.
