Yes, but only when I workout at lunch so I don’t need to leave my watch in my desk unattended. Same when traveling, but otherwise no.

Thanks everyone for the response.

I bought watches to enjoy and wear. Watches are meant to be worn and scratched up.

I don't wear it to the gym to flex or show off. So sorry for those with these comments!

Yup, all the time. Usually I wear no watch, or a Sinn in the gym. But when I forget to take off one of my Rolexes when I head to the gym, I just go for it. They’re tool watches, tough as nails, I don’t pamper them. Note: I do NOT wear my Calatravas in the gym!

I wouldn’t have thought it was worth dinging it plus the feel on the wrist would feel restrained

Why not, you’re as likely to damage your watch getting in and out of your car as at the gym

just dont bang it on the equipment, no different than outside of the gym.

If not at home,Safer on your wrist than in your locker

I’m a bodybuilder always wear whatever I have on my wrist that day while working out.
It’s safer on the wrist vs leaving it in a locker.
Wear it and don’t worry about it.

I prefer my Seiko 5 or nothing. Wore my sub once as I forgot to take it off and was super conscious and haven’t since.

I have many times with all of them. Not intentionally really, but just ended up in the time/place/situation. It will be fine.

I have worn my Rolex while running trail ultra marathons, skydiving, swimming laps, swimming in the ocean, mountain biking, firing large caliber revolvers, camping, partying, you name it. Still ticking as it should.

Should be fine. Haven't tried it with my GMT but with my Explorer, no issues.

Ultra marathon? What kind of Rolex? I feel like if it’s not a sub the watch is going to squeeze your wrist or be loose and annoying.

Sport Watch & Workout

No way.

Maybe if you’re just jumping on the treadmill or bike, but I throw the dumbbells and kettlebells around making it too easy to smash my watch.

The only time I’d wear one is if I accidentally wore it to the gym. I would wear it while working out in that scenario over leaving a Rolex in a gym locker. That is a bad idea.

Couldn’t wear a watch on a bracelet to workout but my sea dweller stays on single pass Zulu 99% of time, so yes plenty of times in gym and no one knows it’s a Rolex, which works for me. If you’re doing kettlebell work take off and put it on floor. Done it many times. Do prefer to have garmin to time sets etc, but Rolex is fine in gym.

Oh yes. I have a yellow gold YM II only for this purpose, to work out in the gym. I go only in peak time and always try to be somewhere in the middle of the gym where the most people can see me.

Yes, always had, and since everyone else is just looking at themselves in the mirrors it goes completely unnoticed.

Reminds me of the saying, when you’re young you worry about what others think of you, when you’re middle aged you don’t care, and when you’re old you realize they haven’t been thinking of you all along

I wear my Rolex at my condo gym, there’s usually nobody else there
