I take mine off, partly to spare my wife. I do, however, keep it on when traveling.

I don't wear my watch to bed. I don't like the feeling of a watch on my wrist when I sleep.

I also scratched one of my kids when he was about a year old. I was getting him dressed, and as I pulled the shirt over his head the back of my clasp scratched him right along the chest. I started taking my watch off when I bathed the kids, even though the watch is waterproof.

I used to leave it on at night, until one time when the clasp of the wifeys DJ scratched the sapphire of my GMT..... ouch! Ended up getting the crystal replaced during a service.

So now I take it off!!

About 50/50 for me. Sometimes I take it off and sometimes I forget - the watch doesn't bother me in any way.

It makes my wrist agitated if I have it on at night and during the day. I have less moments of discomfort during the day if it is off at night.

No, the only time I sleep with a watch is in a hotel room (in case the alarm clock fails).

I actually make sure I have it on before going to bed so when I wake up, I know exactly what time it is.

Not to mention I like to look at the lume in the dark.

24-7. Always stays on while I sleep because when I take out my contacts, I'm as blind as a bat, and looking at the watch is easier than leaning way over to see the clock. And I refuse to buy one of those incredibly large clocks with the huge numbers.

What is the benefit of sleeping with it off?

I like sleeping with a watch on so that I can see the time during the middle of the night. Beyond that, I feel naked without it.

Can't help but

I have to think that those who sleep with their Rolex on are either SINGLE or have an EXTRA large bed where he sleeps on the one side and the better half sleeps on the other. What happens if you accidentally swing your arm and hit your wife/girlfriend's face? The weight of the Rolex can do really some damage you know.

I don't know, rolling around, tossing and turning, maybe scratching it? Soon as I get home, I take mine off..if I wake up in the middle of the night and need to know the time, I just look at the cable box, bright red #, can't miss it

When its still dark and i happen to wake up, i couldnt care less what time it is.
But as soon as I wake up in the morning, I have to know the time, it either determines if I can have 10 mins more sleep or not..
