Delivery moved up and received it this evening. Not bad delivery times. Took 2 days from UK to US. First thoughts... it's light. I'm use to wearing PM watches. Under my lighting conditions, dim, the dial color looks flat, almost like Mclaren orange. Will see tomorrow when it's under the sun and brighter lighting.

It's shipping in batches, as the watches pass QC. Mine arrived today.
CW did manage to effect the changes I requested to the prototype The production version dial is deeper brushed, but the effect is only visible to me under a loupe. My son can see the deeper brush lines with naked eye though. So it looks marginally nicer than the prototype in all lighting. It's at its best under ceiling LED lights in my opinion. The case back is also improved, in terms of the finish surrounding the Phoenix motif. I hope everyone is as pleased with it as I am |

Finally got some wrist time with "Bell" today and it certainly pops in the right lighting. The color ranges from mid orange to deep orange. Love the effect of the sunburt effect as it rotates around the clock. Usually this happens at the center of the dial but because the clock is not in the center. Extremely comfortable to wear and likely going to buy a couple of 3rd party straps. Thanks Jas, it came out great and pleased with the final product.

That is stunning. I wish they offered that as a regular piece. Or even more, I wish I had been able to buy it to the deal. Probably the only color I would choose over the purple.

Hi Jas I got mine today. The ding is perfect. The face is so well designed that any pictures don’t do it Justice. I took a few to send to friends but it doesn’t look how it does on the wrist. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to buy it.

“Houston, Tranquility Base Here. The Phoenix has Landed.”
Well, this watch is... amazing. The color of the dial is incredible in the sun, but even its lume is top notch in the dark. I tried to take some pictures, but it's hopeless, they don't even come close to this magic. And then I didn't even say a word about the chime. It's great Thanks for this masterpiece! |

Well, he won't get another bespoke from me ever again.
And I'm currently working on my next special one. And it's very special indeed. My most recent one was the Jade Dragon, which sold out in under 2 minutes https://thedriversunion.com/JadeDragon.pdf |

Guess CW is done with Czapek hommage timepieces and moving to H. Moser. Which brand do you think CW will hommage after H. Moser?
