I had the pleasure of visiting the Berlin boutique where they were kind enough to let me install the white gold deployant on my Time Zone, as I was interested in upgrading.
I’m glad I got to try it on, as I found the deployant bar to really push into my wrist regardless of tightness, so it’s pin buckle for me! |

Lange makes one of the most functional and comfortable pin buckles there is. I much prefer it to their deployants.

So, I picked up a platinum Dato in October and when for the deployant. Comfortable from Day 1 and truly balances the watch on my wrist. I was hesitant to do it given that I had a deployant on an 1815 U/D that I could never get to sit properly. Night and day difference with the Dato.

Interesting about the Delugs aftermarket deployant - which model do you have, and do you find it's appropriately colour matched to your ALS? Thanks

I have deployants on my heavier Langes (Dato, RL-PLM, Zeitwork Date and 1815 PC-Rattrapante Chrono) and pin buckles on the relatively lighter ones (1815, RL, Grand L1 and Grosse Langematic) which works well for me. Of note all of the deployants are the butterfly style which I like much better than the single fold which I found unwearable.
