What a great memory you created. My father as he was passing said that when he gets through the chemotherapy treatment that he would ask me to find him a Rolex. But he wouldn’t let me buy it before hand as he thought it would jinx him. The poor guy never made it, so no Rolex.
Your father is special and I am so so thrilled to hear this worked out for him and you!

I pulled my SA aside to make the obvious point that pops didn’t have a year to wait, which AD acknowledged but apologized that allocations were a trickle and committed.

I understood and started quickly shopping BNIB from the Trusted Sellers.

Two weeks later, just as I was about the pull the trigger, bam! AD called and said ‘I got one for him.”

Pops and I were elated and he rolled in, got the king treatment and a brand new polar! More father son pix to follow!
