Hmm, depends on my mood, outfit, perhaps the weather, definitely the activity, and just because so why not.

Hope that clarifies things

I have 5 watches in my possession, a few more in my 2 sons possession.
I am striving to be a 1 maybe 2 watch guy, so I am wearing my VTNR about 75% of the time. So far so good. I'm not craving constant rotation anymore.

Make sure you put the right box of candies out by the front door or else some kid's parent is going to have a field day.

I'm one of those guys that tries to match my watch with what I'm wearing most days so they all get fairly equal time on the wrist.

One watch rarely gets worn more than 2-3 days in a row.

An eight Rolex collection. Two PM (one on OF), two TT, four SS. Two watches rotated every month - one PM or TT and one SS. I like enjoying all of them as much as I can.

I rotate through three watches. All have 3200 series movements, so they have 70 hours of reserve. I wear two at a time, alternating days. The day it is not worn, the reserve runs down about 32 hours, which is easily made up when I wear it again. After about a month, I rotate in the third and set one aside.

If the occasion is a bit rugged I’ll wear a rolex,
if a bit more casual or dressy I’ll likely put on a Patek.

Pic of the last night in Sicily. Drove around the island and finished up in Palermo.

I like the fact that in a country where you can buy Cubans, you still chose to smoke a Padron anniversarie.

I currently have 7 Rolexes and 2 Patek and those get mixed in as mood strikes.

When I first got the 124060 it was running plus one second to spot on every day. Over a period of time, several months, it got to running five seconds slow a day and then it dropped a few more seconds a day and obviously something was wrong with it. I sent it to Rolex through my AD and they serviced it. When it returned, my AD checked the timing and it was still significantly off so back it went to the RSC. Several weeks passed and back to me. Now the timing is plus one second a day. I am glad to have it back as it is my favorite watch.

This sounds about right. I also have a lot of watches and I change it up every day and sometimes several times per day. Long and short of it is it’s good for watch movements to be worn at least on a semi regular basis imo…

I tend to just wear one for a really long time. Hence why I can’t personally do large collections. Been there many times, always ended up feeling mentally bloated. This year it’s been 95% DD, the rest b/w other watches.
