PS. Have you seen, The Third Man?More awsome, Orson....fairly dark with a mesmeric Anton Karas, zither soundtrack.
Ok Steve, I've got to admit I've never seen It's a Wonderful Life in its entirety. And I love movies.

No, I haven't seen, but look forward to The Third Man. I loved Touch of Evil.

Not a movie; but the Martha stewart doc on Netflix is pretty entertaining. I threw it on as background noise and it pulled me in.

My wife and I were just talking about this movie earlier this week. She couldn't believe that I have never watched the entire movie, rather bits and pieces.

I think this will be our movie tomorrow night!

Interesting timing, because I mentioned watching this movie to our lead guitar player while in the studio last week and he said he had watched it for the very 1st time the night before.

Good to see these classics get their proper recognition.

Have you seen, 'The Matador'? For me, Pierce Brosnan's best movie....it's hilarious!!

"I'm, what you might call, a facilitator of fatalities"

....but tonight we're watching; 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'. (for about, the 5th time!)

Titanic. I saw it when it first came out in '97 but watching it again I have a much greater appreciation for the incredible special effects and great acting. Cameron is a genius.

Le Samouraï with Alain Delon? One of Jean-Pierre Melville's finest. You might also like Army of Shadows or Le Doulos.

All listed thus far are classics and my favorites, but since it 'tis the season, I'm goin to double down on "It's A Wonderful Life." Although I like "old" movies, I had never seen it from start to finish so I sat down one December a few years ago and have not regretted it.

It is the perfect movie to have on in the background when you are doing anything holiday-related. Tree decorating, wrapping presents, enjoying a favorite beverage by the fire and enjoying some well-deserved time off.

My favorite thing to do is to watch it on the flight home during the holidays on the last leg before I land. Working right up to the big day, it can sometimes be hard to get into the holiday spirit. This movie snaps me right into it and if your flight is long enough to watch it in its entirety, I guarantee it will do the same for you.
