If you think you are going to be staying at 3 watches or so, yes, more diversity might be wanted (everyone is different).

If you are going to end up with 10 watches. Then just add, don't sell.

All nice watches but I would get rid of the BLNR.

If you're happy with the collection then it doesn't matter really.

But if you have an itch to change things up - go for it.

The right decision is YOUR decision.

I would keep them all and look to add something new they are all timeless and perfect in their own way

and you can now have the options to wear them with whatever you might be wearing every day

Drop the BLNR and get a Daytona or DateJust depending upon whether you prefer the professional series or want to mix it up with a dressier variant.

Thanks for the comments all - Daytona is high up on the wish list…have owned the Exp II (too big) and a DJ (too flash) so the Daytona would certainly add something new and different.

Overlap - yes... I would sample some other brands.

Maybe an Omega, VC, Patek, Grand Seiko... I love my Spring Drive Grand Seiko just for the glide of the seconds hand - so cool and so accurate. My Omega - best bang for the buck in my opinion. I would like to eventually add a big 3 to the collection - VC, Patek, or AP.

Many folks like a trio of land, sea and air, so probably the BLNR would go to be replaced by a Daytona of your choice. Doing nothing is also an option, just enjoy what you have. Cheers!

Too much overlap?

Overlap! They are all SS Sport models. No variety there at all. Perhaps consider adding something PM or a "classic" series model to bring some variety to the group. If something should go, I would pick the BLNR.

A lot of us prefer the Sub Date. I know I do. It is the quintessential Rolex, IMO.

Sub date for a one and done. In a collection get the original submariner or an LV Sub Date.

There is no ONE WAY to build a watch collection. One person might love a ton of diversity, another might love nothing more than SS Rolex models with rotating bezels!

There is no right or wrong, only "own what you enjoy."
Agreed.
It’s what you like to wear that should drive your decision.
After all, no one really needs even one watch anymore.
The Sub, also, is submersible to 1000 meters, the GMTs aren’t.

Clear overlap with two GMTs; however, all three are super watches. GMTs are my favorite models, but for less redundancy get rid of BLNR and get something different. What model? Well, that’s the fun for you to decide.

All I see are three great pieces that are each forever keepers.

Keep them all. I have a similar situation: GMT's 12671CHNR and 126710BLNR, and also Submariners 124060 and 126613LB. I wouldn't part with any.

Keep one GMT and add something new. I prefer BLNR but you do you.

Everyone is wildly different. I just don't want to own a crapload of similar watches. I would replace one of the GMT's.

Sub is a keeper, so if I did mix things up, one of the GMTs would likely make way…

Yea definitely enough Rolex, branch out with some other brands. Look at Patek Philippe

All beautiful watches but definitely a lot of overlap if this part of a small collection being that they all have the same case style, dial color, and date window.

I’d part with one of the GMTs if it was me and I was looking to diversify.

If sticking with Rolex, I’d look at a DD, DJ, Daytona, or Sky-D…Ex1 also but looks like you may already have one.

Agree. Nothing wrong with keeping those pieces. I own all three of these and have no problem with the two GMTs being similar. Also had the Black and White Daytonas which are equally similar to owning multiple GMTs.

There is never "overlap" or redundancy in a collection. A collection can consist of entirely the same model over and over, that's why its called - collection. Its what you want it to be.

Here are some in a box.

I once wanted a BLNR to go along with my BLRO, once I got the BLNR I knew right away they were too similar with the exact same dials. For me the BLRO was the one too keep.
