First of all - congrats! This is a hell of a watch.

However by no means it is a walk in :)
A walk in is when you come to a random AD you are not familiar with and manage to get a watch without any relationship built.

Your AD for sure had this watch reserved for you. They just decided to make a nice surprise

My AD was sick of me asking for this watch. Gave me a pepsi.

There are levels to this game. Le Mans daytona... that's like... pretty far way from a stainless jubilee.

Such a great design with dial and sub dials. Very, very nice.

Size wise, how would you describe that it wears? Enjoy!

It wears pretty small I’d say compared to a DD40 even. The movement is thin for a chrono, it’s thinner than the B09 I was wearing when I picked it up and thinner than my 1861 Seamaster.

I don’t have huge wrists and I’m wearing it with one link out.

Overall it feels classy even though it’s loud with the YG.

I walked into Geary’s on Rodeo drive and got the WG and YG versions as well as next door (Patek) was able to pick up the 5712 and 5990 in rose gold. Pretty good day all in all. Then I got a coffee and went for a walk…

If you haven’t had a chance to check out one of the new references with the display back I suggest visiting your local trusted retailer and taking a look at one.

I was originally in the “meh why show it” camp but I have since changed my mind on it after seeing in person. I’m so used to nothing going on in the back that I didn’t even check until after I had already been wearing it.

This one is going to be a “mostly daily” for me I think, very comfortable and cool with the vintage cues and red 100.

In conclusion, I highly recommend buying this reference from your favorite AD or boutique.
Absolutely wonderful! A big congrats on this one

Everose is coming next year!

Lol fact! It’s like when Kevin O Leary walks into his AD and gets a puzzle dial DD. Still technically a walk-in
