I think it's a holiday "flush out the inventory" move during the holidays and the end of the calendar year.

That being the case, I can't see a price increase justification for IWC, and prices should drop even for the Ingenieur.

Surely if that were the case they would just quietly tell their boutiques and ADs to discount watches, not reduce the prices directly on their site?

I think they must have had an awful year to reduce the retail prices, I think this would have been a last resort for them.

Haven't bought a new IWC in decades but noticed the price for a replacement case for an old steel pilot three hander went up from 400 to 1400 since 2012. From very affordable to a lot less affordable. Then again it is pretty cool that they still offer replacement cases and bracelets after 20+ years.
