For me, the size is perfect and I love how they look, but one of the primary purposes of a watch is to tell me the time, and it fell down on that job.

Nobody buys a daytona to tell the time!

Also depreciation doesn't hit the daytona nearly so bad. You can easily get the sedna gold speedmaster with bracelet for 10-15k off MSRP.
