I’ve had good experiences with the sales people there. I did not care for the interaction with one of the sisters at a recent Tudor event though. She came up and spoke with the people I was with, and the experience was condescending. My colleague afterwards told me that the interaction did not make them want to buy from CH.
The following week, I went into the VC boutique to checkout a watch and the same sister was there. I went to say hi and my brief convo with her made me so uncomfortable. For example, she asked who invited me to the event if I never bought from them. I said that’s true, but I have sent a lot of people to them like I did with the Rolex boutique in the same mall. She then asked me for names of the people I sent right on the spot. Her exact words were: “names. I need names.” I shared my thoughts with the salesperson helping me at the time. My fiance also told me she felt as if she was being looked down upon by that sister. I feel this might go the way that Shreve went with “promises” of allocation. |

Many good dealerships have lost Patek…it’s such a shame to read that places with dubious actions still have Patek in their lineup.

The overwhelming consensus is they are terrible people at CH Premier. Specifically Stephanie, the sister and Jenny Fu who is a LIAR and manipulator.
The brighter side of my experience was that when I quickly picked up on their SHARK tactics I played offense and threatened to escalate and share their behaviors to Patek New York. I spoke to Eric Gonzales at Patek who quickly assured me they will keep their word and my deposit is good for what was committed. In addition to that I further escalated my concerns about the unethical practices as I found these people used my personal information in a negative and prejudice way, AND some of their staff assassinated my character to mutual clients we had in my business. I went all the way up corporate Patek sharing what these people do. Then a very nice manager at CH contacted me offering me a Nautilus and tried to smooth things after they got the message. This watch was also verbally promised in my early conversations with the Fraud Jenny who quickly moved the goal posts and failed at holding my first order hostage, which was an Aquanaut and annual calendar complication. In the end I won as I got my aquanaut, nautilus, and annual calendar. All because they did unethical things and I was one step ahead of them with every attempt at extorting me and smearing me. But ultimately in the end they lied about me again to Patek corporate requesting corporate navigate me to another AD after they gave me the nautilus. So I won their game of deception, extortion and greed by not putting up with their crap. They still need to be exposed for their tactics. Do NOT LET THEM PLAY YOU FOR A FOOL AND EXTORT YOU. Only one sales manager there is of class, he had the task of keeping me calm as I vocalized and he offered me a nautilus which I took. He is a nice guy because he was given that task, but the owner and Jenny are horrible. |

Miscrediting ADs and sellers, telling everyone the half truth here for your own profit is unethical and weak in character. Nothing to be proud of! |

Terrible experience at CH Premier Jewelers in Nor Cal

This is entertaining as hell. OP plays victim and won. He will go into politics when he grows up. In the end, Patek got ripped twice by having CH as AD and having OP as client. |

I was confused by his latest post as well. It seems like he used things to his advantage, things worked out, and then still disses on CH. Perhaps CH saw through him and hence the runaround. Either way, this thread was interesting.

I don’t understand why anyone would commit to a “bundle” deal and buy a bunch of jewelry, on the promise that the trophy watch you want is going to come later. What happens if they lose AD status, or if there’s a management change? What if your circumstances change and you find yourself in a position where you can no longer buy the watch? I understand the market efficiencies of package deals, but I would never buy an incomplete package based on something that may or may not happen. Get the watch I want, and I’ll come in and buy it along with all the crap I don’t!

So wild! My morning entertainment.
Kidding aside, I can relate to everything being said about CH Jewelers (Fountain Valley), and believe the OP. CH is objectively the worst in the Bay Area, below Shreve, and that's a low bar. Every time I walked out of CH I felt like I needed to take a shower. I would never spend one penny with that family. |

Thank you for sharing your experience. The overwhelming consensus is CH Premier is TERRIBLE. I know their staff read this forum so I will know when an apologist and defender of their classless extortion attempts comments and tries to attack those sharing their experiences. |

I tried to bring my 3800 to service at CH's Patek boutique in Valley Fair. The moment I heard "polishing is required by Patek during a service" I just ran away as fast as I could.

Seems about right, sorry for your experience. Don't play the AD games. Just think about the watches you could have owned that you really wanted just buying second hand. Cheaper in the long run, rather than pay hundreds of thousands to get on the list

This is why I don't get pateks strategy for ADs. Well known rep for a terrible experience keeps their status but other dealers with good reps that are smaller but still get cut.

Isn’t going grey technically still buying from the AD but further down the food chain. AD wins grey wins.

CH bundles, not heresay, first hand exp.
and no I am not interested in AQ or Nautilus but Calatrava 5370, 5270, 5204, 5078. I eventually obtained them from other AD, not that hard. except CH it's not worth losing hair dealing with CH. |

I have a friend being offered a 5712 if he would buy a JLC diamond crusted bracelet for $100000.
The only time I ever came close to getting a ladies dress Patek for my wife was turned off by the salesperson’s attempt to push jewelry on us, I was like why I need to buy more when I am already doing them a favor and walk away Another friend bought an IWC from them and was invited to the VC boutique opening. He saw a fifty six which he was interested in and was told that it is meant for their VIPs. We went on C24 and showed him how he can save 30% on the spot This thread is not the first thread with “excellent” feedbacks for them. And I think if you are interested in Patek and your second half is into high ticket jewelries, you will be treated as a VIP. But the real question is why would Patek let their image be tarnished to help an AD sells more high margin items as a bundle |

I'm fairly sure either Patek or Rolex could stop these practices if they cared. But it's just a front and what they care about is the viral marketing of exclusivity and hide behind ADs when things go wrong. They know this has to continue for the brand to thrive and continue their dominance in the horology market.

The only way in US for a manufacturer to control an independent AD who is misbehaving is by cancelling the contract by whatever means are stipulated in it.
The better way is to eliminate independent dealers - but I suspect we would still hear tales of misbehavior. Due to human nature, some who become an arbitrageur will abuse that power. And those who fall afoul of such an arbitrageur will publish their grievances.

Am looking forward to the Second Act. That's when it gets....
Endless entertainment, the next Act is where it gets enlightening. Until then.... The more you suffer...

I was hoping it would heat up like the 5522 thread.
Still waiting for the OP to share what references he was able to get out of them. A ChatGPT summary of that old thread (closing in on 10 years old!): https://www.rolexforums.com/showthre...highlight=5522 In a Rolex Forums thread, members discussed the Patek Philippe Calatrava Pilot 5522A, a limited edition of 600 stainless steel timepieces introduced exclusively in 2017 for the U.S. market. The watch features a 42mm stainless steel case, a matte blue dial with Arabic numerals, and luminous hands. Powered by the self-winding caliber 324 S, it offers a 45-hour power reserve. Participants appreciated its design and exclusivity, noting its resemblance to the 5524G model. Some highlighted its investment potential due to limited availability, while others debated its value relative to other Patek Philippe models. Additionally, discussions touched upon the practice of bundling watches with jewelry purchases to secure highly sought-after models. Some members shared experiences of being encouraged to buy jewelry or less popular watches to improve their chances of obtaining limited editions like the 5522A. This practice elicited mixed reactions; some viewed it as a necessary strategy in a competitive market, while others felt it was an unfair sales tactic that detracted from the purchasing experience.
