Regardless of the series, the Rolex Super Jubilee bracelet comes with 22 links plus the 2 end links. So you have a full bracelet. Remember, Rolex is notoriously stingy with their bracelet lengths.

Not sure about that.

I have a 7" wrist and my 22 link Super Jubilee fits perfectly. I doubt this watch when sold new from an AD only had 22 links.

Is there an online resource that shows how many links come with each Rolex bracelet

I wasn’t guessing. I researched it. If the very latest model Super Jubilee, model # 63600, it does have 24. That model was released with the 12 series watches, and 7 of its links are removable, compared with the previous model 63200, that has 22 total links, with 5 of them removable.

I did a google search too.

However if you look at the 11 series which has the Super Jubiiee bracelet with hidden clasp, it definitely has more links and the 12 series. While mine only came with 22 links, other 11 series DJs I have seen for sale have 23-25 links.

The seller whom I got mine from said it was definitely not fully linked and as mine only fits a 7" wrist, I doubt this was how it came directly from Rolex.

The internet isn't always right.

Fair enough. There is conflicting info, depending on the source. Check your bracelet model number, in case you ever need extra links. 11 series should be 63200. 12 series is 63600. Maybe my edited post has it backwards. Based on my observations of my own watches, Rolex provides a bracelet that will fit up to a 7.5 inch wrist. So if your bracelet, fully linked fit your 7 inch wrist, it makes sense that you are short 2 links. It also makes sense that the Super Jubilee would have more links than the regular Jubilee.

The best resource is an actual Rolex bracelet catalog. For the avoidance of doubt, it lists the specific number of links in each bracelet and only counts the bracelet links - not end links and not clasp links.

Bracelet solid links are not the same as clasp links nor are clasp links end links.

How Many Links does it take to make a Rolex Bracelet?

Not enough. Every Rolex I have ever purchased has been just long enough to close but too short to be comfortable on my 8.25" wrist. I always have to buy extra links. Also I almost always buy divers, but I really don't care for the wetsuit extension link so I usually take it out and put in two regular links to replace it. So most of the time I end up buying 2 or 3 links. When I dive I wear my watch under my wetsuit sleeve for extra protection.

63200 and 63600 both come with 24 links , the difference being the # of removable links as you say (5 vs 7).

So that doesn't count as a link when a resource says a bracelet has 12 or 13 links?

I think I'm more confused than before I started this thread. :/

My 2022 SS Sub Date 41 also came with a 1/2 link as well. (New from AD) I believe the total count is 11 1/2.

Thank you.

Mine is actually a 63160. so it looks like I am only missing one link.

It can be confusing, I agree. Please don't take anything I'm adding as criticism...

When getting into details, it starts with reading and speaking within the Rolex lexicon. For example, in this thread many have used all sorts of terms - my post was intended to get us speaking in Rolex lexicon.

Alpino has provided multiple examples and still some differ in their posts when the facts are laid out in the diagram. In 20 years I've learned to study the diagrams he generously shares.

Adam contributed this link to a thread that Nick has generously provided. Those Rolex bracelet factory manual scans are prime source material

So here is my contribution to explain my picture of a clasp link because it may have caused confusion. I provide it in a 93150 bracelet context but it is applicable to other Oyster bracelets.

First, what is part of the clasp? See the photo below.

It is the clasp that is part of a 93150. Note one side has a clasp link like the one you quoted from my post. Do we count it?

The answer involves a new layer of Rolex anomaly that tickles us. In the Rolex parts catalog, that part is titled "Clasp without links". Yet, the same page in the catalog shows the same link, and calls it a "Link with fitting". See the catalog page below with those sections boxed in red.

When do you call a link a "Link"? It depends on context. If I've further confused you, I am truly sorry. It appeared from your initial post that you are buying and selling 5 digit Rolexes. If selling in that context, I would err by describing the number of links in a bracelet the way Rolex does in the bracelet catalog, but add context via pictures to leave no doubt. See the photo below - it leaves no doubt how long it really is. BTW it has 12 links not counting the clasp - one link we count is hidden under the clasp on the 12 o'clock side.

If you are buying, ask for the same sort of picture to avoid being disappointed.

I hope it is helpful, but I know it can be confusing...
