Two tone gmt. Either yellow or rose gold. Both are beautiful and I can’t ever decide which I like more.

I think for me at this stage of my life, it would be a TT DJ 36 or 41 with fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet. Not sure what combo, I like both RG and YG.
Sports watches, again at this stage, I would prefer in SS. Good luck in your quest! |

It's funny how personal preferences and taste change with age. When I bought my first Rolex (116710LN) I was 27 and looked at two-tone watches with almost pity. My young and foolish self thought, "who would buy these gaudy and mis-matched watches!?" Now, 17 years later, I find myself in a similar situation as you, OP. The Bluesy starting growing on me a few years ago, as I LOVE blue dials. And the way it plays with the yellow gold is just exquisite to my eyes. Additionally, I've grown such a fondness for the Rootbeer that I think it will be my first two-tone Rolex. The rose gold with that bezel is otherworldly. And I like it so much, I wonder if I should go full PM instead with that one.
Good luck on your search, it's not an easy decision.

My two recommendations (from my personal collection)
Explorer 1, 124273 Datejust, 126231 Plenty of two tone options out there for you to enjoy. My next addition will be a TT yellow gold Datejust. I'm waiting to see W&W releases this year, especially around the 75th Anniversary. Sent from my LE2113 using Tapatalk |

I have a few 2 tone Rolex and have had a few more, I think they are stunning.
If I was going for a “Best” that would be for special occasions, a diver or a GMT wouldn’t be my choice, it would be my SkyDweller that elevated above the common Datejust with its presence. Personally, the black dial is my favourite however the champagne dial has a certain opulence. Here’s mine:- But if it was a two-tone to be a regular wearer, it’s got to be an iteration of the Bluesy. Having had a few 16613, I have settled on an 116613lb for now. I would upgrade further to a 126613lb, but only if they change the dial writing to gold (it’s white) to match the bezel and centre links. I think it looks far better with gold writing. If you are looking at used, be cautious of worn bezels where the teeth are rounded by excessive polishing, crowns that have the edges rounded off and on 16613, the softer hollow 18k centre links wear heavily where they rub against the stainless, and the link pins, creating excessive “stretch” |

126613LB for me is magical as a two tone watch.

My two favorite gold/stainless Rolex models would be Daytona 126503 w/ white dial and Submariner 126613 LN. these two watches go with almost any situation, attire, and activity you can think of.

I got to try on a Rolex TT Sea-Dweller yesterday at my AD. First time handling this watch in person and I was impressed. Now, I might buy one.

I've always been a fan of TT watches, even outside of Rolex. This is my 11 series. I also had an Explorer Rolesor, but I found it a tad too small for me.

Not *strictly* a two-tone, but you could also consider a 18239 Tridor Day-Date.
Prices are relatively cheap on these, especially considering that they were about 25% more than a YG DD at retail, they were then the only DD with solid links, and there seem to be lots of safe queens among them. My understanding is that these were originally issued only with silver, champagne, or salmon dials, but lots of other dials have been swapped in since then. This silver/gold houndstooth dial is uncommon, but not a bad match! . |

I also have a Bluesy but the Everose Yachtmaster is more subtle and dignified. A much underrated watch in the Rolex stable. |

My first TT was a Bluesy, bought new in 1996 and still running strong. Fast forward to 2023, when I bought as TT DJ, trading in a S/S DJ as part of the process. I am very happy with both, and am confident they will be long term keepers.
Oh, and with the resurgence of PM in the marketplace, you can be confident that you will be on trend. If you care about such things. Which I don't... |

126713GRNR. Tried one on today and fell in love. I am on my local AD’s list for a Batgirl, but am very tempted to add or change it to the GRNR.

The only TTs I can imagine wearing are the TT GRNR and the TT Daytona with champagne dial and black outer rings on the subdials.
