question on your 2012 series. Did that come with an easier strap removal or do you still need to take the little screwdriver to all four screws? I changed my strap once and it was such a pain that I only did it at the dealer after that.

Yes, the 1.4mm is still required to remove the 4 screws holding the wire lugs.
