Is the general consensus that the candy pink is as hard to source from the AD?

Not sure, but the turquoise seems to appeal to both men and women, where the pink mainly appeals to mostly women. Clearly depends on how many requests they receive, but an AD with whom I’m familiar claims the turquoise is by far the hardest to obtain. Not sure if that’s due to a lack of delivers or too high of demand.

My anecdotal experience would be that the Celebration dial in any color was the hardest to supply, I would agree that turquoise in 36mm would be next for the reason you mentioned.
All OPs are relatively hard to get with so many colors/sizes. The AD local to me says the OPs they receive seem totally random and way more black, silver, and blue than the brighter colors.

Makes sense. I completely forgot about the celebration model.

I’ve got the 41mm and no doubt at all that the 36mm is very, very hard to get now too.

I have received two SS Daytonas (both 116500LNs), Batgirl, Starbucks, DJ41 blue dial, and OP41 blue dial ... and the longest wait time I have had at AD was for the OP36 Turquoise (over 2 years). For reference, I got my first SS Daytona in 58 days from first inquiry.

The Turquoise seems to be very rare indeed. Interestingly, I got it for my Mom for Christmas 2023.

Here's a video of it if you would like to see: https://youtu.be/PRhsTuWI8HU?si=lPfEZVfWZ7_d1Kuw

My wife was lucky to get one from our AD last November. We were told they had received only 2 pcs. all year, so yea, they are difficult to obtain. As I said, we were lucky.

candy pink is more of a women's watch while the turquoise can be worn by both.

Correct, it is an entry level Rolex, but what is wrong with that?

Red and green in 41mm seem to be the best values but I’d love to have a turquoise personally , close second being the red .
