Great story and an absolutely killer DRSD...

In my experience, it is often the watches that have been worn the most that have the best dials. Paradoxical perhaps but watches like yours seem to prove me right--stunning dial!
Great job by Mr. Ridley and so nice that you could get a whole new sense of enjoyment and pride in your old companion there. Great to see those one-owner watches still being enjoyed today.
